At IDS 2019, the model experts will be presenting the new SHERABLACK-ROCK, a deep black super hard plaster. This new development sets the stage for prosthetic work with a strong contrast to gold, ceramic, zirconium or non-precious metal work. The model stone draws attention to the prosthodontist's performance.

For the implementation we had to reach deep into our bag of tricks.
Deep black plaster has a high colour content. Thereby they are usually slightly softer when cured. With Sherablack-rock the product developers have reached into the bag of tricks and found a balance between the requirements of a super hard stone yet a colour intensive, visually appealing presentation plaster. With a hardness of 250 Megapascal it complies with the standard for type 4 super hard plasters.

SHERABLACK-ROCK can be sealed with SHERAsepal-U sealant. This makes the color of the plaster appear even more intense, thus making the model water-repellent, less sensitive and making the prosthetic work look really good.
