Print gothic arch/support pin registrations easily

The update and add-on for SHERAeasy-base are here.

With the latest update and add-on to SHERAeasy-base, dental technicians quickly receive a set of Stl data sets for 3D printing of all components required to determine the jaw relation. The gothic arch registration with SHERAeasy-base is designed for all indications - from fully toothed, partially toothed to edentulous jaws. The update is based on the full version SHERAeasy-base for individual trays and bite registration. SHERAeasy-base transfers requirements taken from analogue technology to the precisely controlled CAD/CAM production of all components for a successful gothic arch registration.

A complete set

The set consists of a registration plate, the centering plate, the support pin with thread, a nut and a suitable tool. Based on a model data set of the upper and the lower jaw, the components can now be digitally manufactured from an Stl file, using a 3D printer such as a SHERAprint and the matching medical device material SHERAprint-tray clear. A further advantage of printing the tracking device with the pink transparent material SHERAprint-tray clear is - it allows you to assess whether the patient has held the final bite position and the fit is correct in the patient's mouth.

One-off cost

The height of the screw can be adjusted, and the smooth plate is provided with a punched hole to make it easier to find the jaw closure and prevent the registration from tilting. The plate can be placed in the upper or in the lower jaw according to the dentist's wish. Support post registrations in this design are now available exclusively for users of the SHERAeasy-base software. After ordering, the digital team will arrange an appointment to upload the data to the laboratory computer. The one-off cost is 79 euros plus VAT. The investment in the practical software tool pays for itself after just the second support pen registration to be billed. Those who do not have their own printer can simply send the model data to print-it@shera.de and receive the finished set for the precise and modern form of the support or arrow angle registrations by return of post.
